![]() ![]() ![]() I believe an old IT guy used it to access my computer so I could see my desktop on my laptop when I was away from the office. I trashed the folder just in case, but I don't see any other instances of it and don't know how to find any possible hidden items. Clean My Mac, as far as I can tell, I haven't used almost since I installed it, and the folder is empty.please understand that although I've been working on Macs as a designer since 1989, "tech" is not my thing so I'm pretty ignorant in many ways about it. I've not used it, but can you see the slowness if you disable it? A slow internet connection or even Google's s tendency to write bloated apps could make you wait. It is so annoying since I like Mac previews better than Adobe PDF reader. The problem shows up towards the end of the video where it jumps all the way back up to page one. I am not using the mouse swipe right or left for this. This problem of it jumping to page one also occurs when i Not sure if this is a MacBook 2021 problem cause I have a new m1 MacBook Pro 16inch. It will only go away if I close the app and then re-open the app. Like I can scroll through pages or do anything like add another note but the one that is stuck is stuck on top of the screen indefinitely. I can sometimes switch between tabs with no issue but it happens often., What is going on here?Īnother problem I am having is that sometimes I have a stick note that I start and then for some reason the expanded sticky note in the previews app won't go away. When I switch into previews app, the app for some reason auto scrolls all the way back up to page 1. This seems to happen when I also use the 3 finger gestures or force touch sometimes. Like when I "command + tab" from chrome and then back into Mac preview, it will go back I was on page 1 even though I was on like page 25. So when I use Mac previews and "command + tab" to switch between apps, it like changes pages from like page 25 back to page 1. So lets say I have a pdf file and open it to page like 25. Huge annoying problem-> Mac previews "Cammand + Tab" jumps the pdf page to the very top of the page. ![]() I'll attach the EtreCheck report, and by the way, I have an outside party do a backup for me every morning. I have not run into this literally in YEARS. It's really slowing me down in getting work done. Everything is still behaving the same way. So over this past weekend I upgraded to the OS Monterey. I have needed to upgrade my system for quite some time, so I thought I would do it in case this was a contributing factor to the slowness. I know fonts can cause a lot of problems, so I'm always keeping an eye on them. Periodically, I will go through my fonts and turn a lot of them off (Font Explorer X Pro), so I don't think that's the issue. Sometimes the beachball appears just because I clicked an insertion point to type something, just very, very simple stuff like that. I used Adobe InDesign and Illustrator every day, Photoshop mostly for converting the colorspace and minor photo adjustments. I'm a graphic designer in the print industry, so I'm not using a lot of high-intensity video type software. I have a good deal of RAM but that doesn't seem to be the issue because that beach ball is spinning even if only one of my apps is open. I'm experiencing a lot of lag as I work, and spinning beachballs, as of a couple weeks ago. ![]()
